1.FC Köln : Ballerina

information

"Show your hidden talent"

We use the girlish motif of the ballerina to deliberately set viewers on the wrong track. The “air hanky” so often seen in soccer creates a surprising about-face and shows that even dainty girls can have true footballing talent in their veins. The commercial provocatively but humorously counters the cliché that girls should stick to certain types of sport from the word go.

While women’s soccer is firmly on the map in the USA and Canada, it is more of a rarity in Germany despite the outstanding achievements of the country’s women’s national team.
The women’s team of 1. FC Köln therefore needs communicative support as the club seeks to intensify its involvement in the field of women’s soccer which so far lacks popularity. The focus is on young, up-and-coming talent.
